These funds are obligatory for working people (not for freelancer working students younger than 26).

If your working period commenced in Poland and You haven’t chosen Open Pension Fund, theoretically You would have 7 days to do it.

In fact You have time to closer of days: 10th January or 10th July of present year. After that, if You haven’t chosen Your own OFE You would get it by drawing the one that is not favorable to You.

If You are not satisfied You can change OFE after 2 years free of charge.

ZUS will cover 7,3% of Your gross salary to OFE and it will be invested to Your pension.
